Two Way Street (From Abstracts to Faces)
“From Abstracts to Faces!!! Or should we call it from Meaningless to Meaningful….Wait a minute…What is this all about?
Well, we either see a platform offering Abstracts or Faces! Never or very rarely do we experience a fusion of both! Because maybe, just maybe, Abstracts and Faces come from different planets. But can they exist independently?Â
If we churn out a face, it is meaningless till we add the color, the features, the tones, etc. Or if we create an abstract, it is meaningful with shapes, geometry, lines, strokes, etc., till we mix all of them to make one!
So, are we saying they coexist in the same solar system?
What is the feeling while moving from something which has no sense, is an enigma, keeps you wondering because it’s abstract into something which is concrete, has a character, is definitive which is faces? We will get mixed reactions on this one! Won’t we? Let’s not decide just as yet!”.Â
Trishna Patnaik offers you a Two-Way Street (From Abstracts to Faces) in the form of some paintings using various mediums and several expressions!
“Do go through each one of them and discover how it feels to travel through a Two-Way Street (From Abstracts to Faces). And let’s hope you discover an answer which will be neither wrong nor right but just ‘you’!”
